Meagan Southam

Director & Founder, Developmental Educator

Located: Regional Adelaide (Tea Tree Gully, Port Adelaide Enfield, Campbelltown, Salisbury, Elizabeth, Playford), & Yorke Peninsula (Yorke Peninsula, Copper Coast, and Barunga West Council areas) and Mid-North (Port Pirie, Jamestown, Peterborough, Crystal Brook) once per fortnight.

Qualifications : Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability Studies), Graduate Diploma in Social Science (Rehabilitation).

Meagan is the Founder and Director of Grow and Flourish, a dedicated service designed to support individuals with disabilities in achieving their fullest potential. With over 25 years of experience in the disability sector, she brings a wealth of expertise and compassionate insight to her work.

Her passion lies in providing high-quality support to families in regional areas, recognising the unique challenges they face, and specialising in working with individuals with complex needs. Meagan is committed to creating inclusive, empowering environments where individuals and families can truly thrive.

Jo Seaton

Developmental Educator

Located: Regional Adelaide (Tea Tree Gully, Port Adelaide Enfield, Campbelltown, Salisbury, Elizabeth, Playford)

Qualifications: Bachelor of Education (Primary), Masters of Disability Policy and Practice, Diploma in Community Services and Childcare, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Christian Ministries, Certificate IV in Small Business Management.

Jo is an autistic individual with ADHD and a mother of two children with disabilities, drawing on her personal experiences to bring a unique perspective to her work. With over two decades of experience as a former school teacher, she is guided by a deep commitment to fostering authentic inclusion within the disability community.

In addition, Jo holds a Master of Disability Policy and Practice, which solidifies her dedication to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of people with disabilities.

Janine Hughes

Developmental Educator

Located: Mid-North Region, Port Pirie and surrounding districts. 

Qualifications : Bachelor of Early Childhood, Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies, Master of Education (Special Education), Graduate Diploma of Psychology, Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced, Master of Disability, Policy and Practice.

Janine is a dedicated Developmental Educator with a diverse teaching and support background. She has taught across multiple year levels, including Kindergarten to Year 6, and worked as a special needs teacher in an options class. Her experience also includes roles as a NIT teacher, Aboriginal Literacy Intervention Education Teacher, Social Skills Coach, and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.

Passionate about helping young people thrive, Janine fosters learning through joyful, engaging activities like nature, animal care, crafting, and games. She values building relationships while supporting growth and development.

Believing that learning is a lifelong, two-way process, Janine approaches her work with the understanding that clients and educators alike grow through their shared experiences. She feels privileged to be part of a journey that helps individuals ‘grow and flourish’ and is proud to be part of a team that upholds these values.

De Brown

Therapy Assistant

Located: Regional Adelaide (Tea Tree Gully, Port Adelaide Enfield, Campbelltown, Salisbury, Elizabeth, Playford).

Qualifications : Certifcate IV in Youthwork, NAATI Certified Provisional Auslan Interpreter, Bachelor of Disabilty and Community Inclusion, & Working towards a Masters of Autism.

De is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years in the disability sector. Her diverse background spans support work, disability employment, inclusive education, support coordination, and Auslan interpreting across community, school, health, government, and private settings.

She has provided 1:1 support in homes and communities, assisted with job seeking and skill development in disability employment, and worked closely with students to scaffold learning, enhance communication, and provide holistic care. As a Support Coordinator, De helps individuals build fulfilling lives, strengthen community connections, and access tailored supports.

A proud adopted member of the Deaf community, De is fluent in Auslan and has extensive volunteer experience in youth facilitation, life transitions, and creating inclusive, neuro-affirming spaces.

As a carer and mum to two boys with lived experience of disability, De brings both personal and professional insight to her work. Her passion lies in empowering individuals, fostering self-understanding, and embedding neuro-affirming practices in all she does.

Cheleigh Jaffer

Therapy Assistant

Located: Regional Adelaide (Tea Tree Gully, Campbelltown, Salisbury, Elizabeth, Playford) & Southern Adelaide (Woodcroft, Hallet Cove, Morphett Vale, Christies Beach, Seaford).

Qualifications : Bachelor of Disability and Community Inclusion.

Cheleigh is a dedicated Therapy Assistant with a strong passion for early intervention, focusing on tailoring supports and interventions to suit the unique needs of each individual. She finds great fulfilment in working with young people, fostering genuine connections with them and the network of people who support them.

Che believes in the importance of personalised approaches that empower individuals to thrive. Her commitment to building meaningful relationships and her focus on collaborative support reflect her dedication to helping each person achieve their fullest potential.

Charli Fellows

Mentor

Located: Regional Adelaide (Tea Tree Gully, Holden Hill, Modbury)

Qualifications : Working towards a Certificate III in Disability Studies.

Charli is a passionate advocate for authenticity, creativity, and inclusion. With a love for music, cooking, writing, and graphic design, she brings a unique blend of talents to her work. Operating within a human rights framework, Charli is committed to fostering inclusive practices and supporting capacity building through a person-centred approach.

She enjoys working with young adults with disabilities, drawing on her own lived experience with chronic illness, disabilities, and as a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Charli’s dedication to empowering others and promoting authentic living is at the heart of everything she does.
